NAR Web Indexing Vote Postponed

The US National Association of Realtors (NAR) has postponed a decision on whether members who allow search engines to index other agent’s listings are in violation of their policy. As reports, the matter was sent back to a work group at a recent board meeting, and it seems likely the issue will not be formally voted on until November this year.

Century 21 Real Estate LLC has announced the launch of “C21 Communities”, its social media platform. The new Communities section of the Century 21 website includes the “Talks” forum, access to radio broadcasts on “C21 Talk Radio”, and links to Century 21’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr profiles.

Launched in February this year, is a website that showcases video tours of properties. The service differs from other video websites such as YouTube in that it focuses exclusively on property tours and allows users to search properties in various categories. The “I’m Interested!” button on each listing also generates leads for agents by linking to an online inquiry form.
