Listing feed creator XML2U added UK property portal zoopla.co.uk to the range of portals accepting its feeds. “The addition of zoopla.co.uk means that agents can now, with a single feed, automate the upload of their listings to all the major players in the UK including rightmove.co.uk, findaproperty.com, primelocation.com, globrix.com, home.co.uk, propertylive.co.uk and a host of regional and international portals,” said XML2U spokesperson Corin Ashbee-Waugh.

homesandproperty.co.uk, the The London Evening Standard’s property website, reported a 10 percent month-on-month increase in visitors to a total of 673,987 for February - its highest total since October 2010. The number of enquiries made during the last week of February also increased to 5,310 compared with 4,043 in the last week of January.

Smarter Agent, a US-based provider of real estate search applications for mobile, is now offering to create a personalised mobile app for any Multiple Listing Service. These apps will be branded with the MLS’s name and logo, and offer a one-touch call and one-touch email feature to connect the consumer with the listing agent.

Global real estate agency chain Coldwell Banker launched what is says is the first real estate iAd - an interactive advertising unit within an iPhone or iPad app. “Coldwell Banker is the first of only a handful of brands to be part of the launch of iAd for the iPad, and we’re the first brand to ever feature a full screen iAd banner,” the company says.
