US auction based online marketplace realtybaron.com is offering new widget to partner websites that allows them to offer “find an agent” services while keeping visitors on their website.

inman.com reports that through realtybaron.com’s Agent Bid application programming interface (API) widget, websites can display a form that allows consumers to find realtybaron.com member agents offering the lowest commission.

Agents and brokers can also use it to find real estate professionals offering the best referral fee. The API allows users to view responses to their requests for bids without leaving the original website.

realtybaron.com is also the creator of AgentRank, a system that ranks agents based on criteria such as professional experience, recent home sales, and client endorsements.

A review on realtor.org was critical of realtybaron.com but quoted founder Marc Dugger as saying that negative reviews are not posted. “It’s not about tearing down agents or pointing the finger; it’s really about elevating great agents,” Dugger was quoted as saying. “No one is searching the Web for a bad agent.”
