US based relationship marketing website announcemymove.com has launched an interface with social network utility, Facebook. Clients who use the announcements on announcemymove.com can now choose to share these announcements on their Facebook wall.
announcemymove.com classifies itself as a “social networking and viral marketing tool”.
Agents can subscribe to the website and create announcements about their clients’ transactions, which also include details about the agent. Clients then personalise these announcements and forward them to people in their email contact list, spreading information about the agent throughout their social network.
According to a video on the company’s website, announcemymove.com began its service by proving an online moving announcement that coupled a client’s new address details with information about their agent.
This service was then modified to cover announcements on new listings and now includes announcements on topics such as open houses, properties that have just been sold and price modifications.
Agents can also use the service to send out more general newsletters or information about a specific property market.
announcemymove.com tracks the amount of traffic these announcements create for agents.
A statement on the company’s website says the company is also planning to create links with Craigslist, MySpace and Twitter.
