CAR Launches iPhone Application

The California Association of Realtors (CAR) claims to be the first Realtor association to offer its own iPhone application.

“My CAR”, which should be available from the Apple App Store later this month, provides its users with access to information such as real estate market statistics, loan rates, and nearby educational facilities. The initial version of the application will be free for CAR members.

A video by Chris Tellez, online training programs manager for CAR subsidiary Real Estate Business Services Inc., shows how the new application works:

The California Association of Realtors launched a mobile version of their website in October 2008.
