Open House Month at Century 21

Century 21 Real Estate LLC has announced that October will be National Open House Month.

It is the second year in a row in which Century 21 offices around the US will hold open house events for thousands of their property listings throughout the month of October. The company says it follows on the heels of the company’s successful “April is Open House Month” and “Path to Your Dreams Sweepstakes” promotion this past spring.

In April 2009, Century 21 offices hosted more than 11,000 open houses across the nation, which represented a year-over-year increase of over 15 percent in open house listings.

Tom Kunz, president and chief executive officer of Century 21 Real Estate LLC, said:

“Historically low interest rates, outstanding selection and affordability make this one of the best times to buy a home in decades. The CENTURY 21 National Open House Month provides our brokers and agents with an excellent opportunity to reach out to potential homebuyers and educate them about their local housing options, as well as the First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit, which is available for eligible buyers who close on their purchase no later than November 30.”

century21.com now has an Open House Planner and GPS mapping technologies that enable house hunters to personalize, simplify, and organize open house plans to meet their individual needs - meaning October should be a big month for open houses in the US.
