It’s that time of year again, when Inman News announces the winners of its Innovator Awards, including one “Innovator of the Year” along with eight other categories honouring leaders in the real estate field.
zillow.com CEO Spencer Rascoff took out Innovator of the Year, topping off an exciting few weeks which also saw the company go public and hit a valuation of almost $1 billion.
The People’s Choice Innovator Award went to Century 21, in a year that saw it launch a company blog, a redesigned website, and a new version of its iPhone app, to name just a few releases.
Two of the most innovative social website nominees were ones we’ve mentioned previously: The Corcoran Group and 365 Things to Do in Vancouver. And, while it’s currently fighting off a wave of controversy, airbnb still managed to take out a nomination for most innovative new technology for its iPhone app.
