Digital Property Group owned UK portal, findaproperty.com, has been revealed as the lead partner in the McDonald’s Best Chance Monopoly nationwide promotion.
The portal will offer the chance for potentially 2 lucky customers to win £300k prizes to buy a home with findaproperty.com.
Sarah Boorman, Marketing Director of findaproperty.com comments:
“The partnership with McDonald’s provides very direct access to findaproperty.com for millions of home buyers and renters across the UK. We fully expect this campaign to not only increase the exposure of our agents’ properties but to also provide welcome support in the form of 2 potential sales for our estate agents or developers.”
findaproperty.com says the partnership with McDonald’s is the natural continuation of its current “what makes a home” marketing campaign.
In a press release about the partnership, Lucy Brindle, McDonald’s Brand Manger said:
“When selecting partners for 2009 Best Chance Monopoly, we were looking for a range of aspirational partners across a wide variety of sectors and findaproperty.com fitted the bill perfectly for their sector as they are a leading property website. It forms a perfect partnership as houses are a highly sought after prize and we are excited to have them on board.”
It is huge news for findaproperty.com, as it is the biggest ever promotional campaign in the UK for McDonald’s. The partnership will market findaproperty.com to millions of McDonald’s customers through the nationwide campaign across TV, print, online and in-store at McDonald’s, reaching what the company says is the “key findaproperty.com audience of renters, young families and first time through to third time buyers moving up the ladder”.
The 6 week promotion began this week with TV ads and will see findaproperty.com branding in all 1,190 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK. The McDonald’s print campaign commences on 18 March in the Metro, The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily Record and Daily Star plus findaproperty.com advertising within the Daily Mail national & regional Northcliffe titles (the Digital Property Group, which owns findaproperty.com, is a division of Associated Northcliffe Digital). Additional online advertising will expose findaproperty.com to millions of impressions.
