Free Photo Resources For Your Website

camera-icon Pictures, Images and Photos

A little while ago, we looked at how real estate agents should deal with the issue of copyright when choosing images for their blog or website. Today, we’ll give you a few more examples of photo websites you can use without worrying about copyright infringement.

freedigitalphotos.net

This website delivers what its name promises, and comes complete with a construction and property section. To use these images on your website or blog, all you need to do is provide an acknowledgement with a link back to the artist’s portfolio, which is easy with the html code freedigitalphotos.net automatically provides.

photobucket.com

photobucket.com’s selling point is its ease of use. Once you’ve found the image you want, all you need to do to click on the html code provided next to the image to copy it. Then it’s as simple as adding that code to your latest blog post and hitting “publish”.

freefoto.com

This is another website that allows you to use any of its images as long as you publish an attribution along with a link back to the image or freefoto.com itself. The only downside here is that you’ll need to provide an email address to get watermark-free versions of its images.

As we pointed out last time, you can also use some Flickr and Wikimedia commons photos under the Creative Common license, and find more at Stock.XCHNG. If you know of some other good photo resources out there, let us know in our comments.
