Real estate technology company rofo.com has just released a new application aimed at agents who want to showcase their skills and listings on LinkedIn.
This week’s agent strategy comes from Daniel J. Hunter, who says he has been getting plenty of business from real estate blogging.
One of the big debates surrounding the use of Twitter in real estate is whether listings should be broadcast through the social networking tool. Some argue that Twitter should be all about relationship building, while others say the occasional listing is perfectly ok to include. Still others are in favour of Twitter accounts that only tweet listings, maintaining they will only reach those who are truly interested.
tweetmehomes.com is a new US-based Twitter service that comes down firmly on the “listings only” side of the debate.
A new tool has recently been launched to help UK agents upload their listings to multiple property portals.
XML2U promises to take the hassle out of listing properties through the use of “Google-like technology”. First, XML2U visits the agent’s website, collects the details of their properties, and present them in a data file. Then, a link to the file can be given to any portal the agent chooses so their properties can automatically be uploaded.
We first reported on UK-based single property website creation tool estatecreate.com when it launched in February last year. At the time, it was pitched as a challenge to agents in that it offered an alternative selling tool for home owners.
After launching, estatecreate.com decided to include an agent-focused option in its subscription offerings, allowing agents to create single property websites to promote their clients properties.
Since then, it seems agents have been clamouring for an option that doesn’t involve them creating the websites on their own.
The team at Classified AdVentures (owners of Property Ad Guru) has been working hard on a new product called ListGlobally. This application allows agents to advertise their listings on market leading property portals around the world.
For example, an agent in the US or Australia can up load a listing and have it appear in the international section of such market leading sites as Rightmove in the UK, Enormo, Immobiliare in Italy, and Immobilienscout24 in Germany. Over the coming months ListGlobally will be adding more partners to its distribution list.
Not only is this a great way to promote your listings to an international audience, it is also a great tool to differentiate yourself from your competitors when marketing to potential sellers.
If you would like to be a guinea pig and help us test the application for free, just go to www.listglobally.com and click the link on the home page to register for a free trial. Once we receive your request, we will be in touch via email with your login details.
After taking home the Web Marketing Association’s award for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development in September, estatecreate.com has won UK news website The Negotiator’s Innovation Award for 2009.
The TweetLister website is currently down in preparation for a new release – TweetLister Professional.
US based specialist real estate website provider, realestatehomepages.com, has launched a powerful new map-based property search feature with the aim of giving home searchers new options for finding properties.
