All three versions of NearBuy, a US based real estate application for iPhone, have now been made available for download.
NearBuy’s real estate search, apartment search and listings manager applications allow users to search for properties and let agents see who is viewing their listings. Agents can also access Google Base, which allows anyone to upload information to Google, and add their own listings to the map based search.
The applications were developed by students from Missouri University as part of an iPhone application development competition. The students went on to become the overall winners of the competition.
A review of the real estate search application on agentgenius.com points out that while much of the response to the application has been positive, the fact that it takes information from classifieds websites oodle.com and Craigslist could make its listings unreliable.
